~Made for the
Berkeley, California Fire Department, this excellent conditioned vintage,
original & unused metal uniform button from the early to mid 1900’s in a shiny silver-tone finish & in excellent condition on both sides. The face
displays the title “Berkeley FD” with a highly detailed pumper wagon in the center. The shank is unbent,
straight & firmly intact.
A fine example to complement your collection. *It was 1904 when Berkeley firefighters organized & officially became “The Berkeley Fire Department”.

I am currently listing a nice collection of Uniform Buttons, leftovers from a Bay Area factory which closed & sold everything at auction in the 1990’s. They span a period from the late 1800’s/early 1900’s to around 1960/70 & are in varying degrees of condition – all unused.
