    This card was purchased in Milan, Italy, by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.  This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
    On the front of this unusual and lovely old postcard is a matte photo portrait of a lovely lady with her Samoyed puppy.   On the back is no handwriting but there is a manufacturer’s message that indicates that the postcard was made in Italy.   From the style of clothing that the lady is wearing and her hairstyle, I am guessing that this postcard dates back to the late 1930s or the 1940s.
    Measurements are approximately 3.5″ x 5.5″
    so this is a standard size postcard.  Aside from very few signs of surface wear as shown above,  this postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!
