Here is a chance to add a gorgeous and extremely rare Amc to your stable.
Engine is a strong 390 dealership replacement block/motor stamped 3190806 (same stampings as a dated original)which includes the tag from the dealer crate delivered engine.Ported heads(high flow 1970 i believe),rollerized,distributor ect…upgraded oil pump assembly.Strong and loud….no leaks anywhere…no smoke at all.
Body was dry when painted est 20 years ago by Western Corvette in Kelowna BC.Car came from a dry climate and is believed to be all original panels.I would rate the paint at least an 8/10….and ive shown cars on blocks in the World of Wheels,Trunk is untouched original…as is most the underside.
Trust me the paint is gorgeous….i have a local shop that can describe the quality as they have seen the car up close…
Recent add ons include,professionally redone Steering wheel,wiper motor ,tach speedo cluster and carpet with underlay,tail lights and rear bezels(new),center caps…and much more.Tilt steering wheel.
Wheels and tires are new.Drives perfect…everything works.Car went for a complete/detailed out of province/state inspection last summer….its available.
This car was originally a
Silver/Platinum
interior
…and ive seriously considered putting it back that way….the black interior is very very nice.
Imperfections would include a small dent on back of original fuel tank,a small nick the top corner of the new winshield…rear interior molding below the rear window has a couple small cracks.None of these are noticible less you look close.
Amc parts are becoming more available….but trust me..hours go into finding original parts.
Again….i may never see another one of these “Big Bad “390 cars.Rare…..fun…..and the colour is stunnig.
