Specs:
Insulator: Annealed Teflon (superior)
Rod: Nickel-plated brass
Connector type: BNC female (most common) with gold center pin
Impedance: 50 ohm (all GA transponders)
VSWR: 1.2:1 (very power efficient) over transponder band
Max airspeed: 250 KIAS
Frequency: Covers aviation transponder ADS-B and DME bands
Other features:
The dielectric
(insulating) material extends out of the connector body for easier
cleaning and lower loss, plus it is Teflon!  Works great to replace that
antenna that has been bent one too many times, or has gotten too dirty
to clean. Or, an older antenna where the dielectric material has started
to break down, causing high losses and ATC to tell you they can’t “see”
your transponder anymore. This antenna is made in the USA.
Compatibility Questions?
Guaranteed
compatible with all general aviation transponders, ADS-B receiver, DME, and
transponder-based anti-collision systems, where the cable
from the transponder ends in the common male BNC connector.
This antenna fits in place of most previous monopole rod antenna installations with no modification.

composite or fabric-covered aircraft, for best coverage. I’ll take any

ground in Class B airspace with a broken antenna? If your need is
urgent, I will also ship overnight via your choice of carriers! I’m a
pilot too, and understand what it is like being trapped on the ground
for a part failure.

I recommend USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, which I ship
using a box
not a padded envelope, which gets most everywhere in the US within two
days. Contact me if you need special shipping arrangements not listed
here. I usually ship no later than the next business day, and sometimes
even same-day after payment clearance.
